The process needs either the egg from the mother or the sperm from the father’s body to grow the fertilized egg in someone else’s womb. From the view of surrogates
While parents resort to surrogate mother to have a child when there is no option left, surrogates mainly do it for monetary purpose. These surrogates do have to go through a lot to prevent the glare the society even if the bill for the surrogacy has been registered. They have to hide their pregnancy and when they no longer can hide, they move to a hostel where other surrogates to reside.
The surrogates know that it may not be possible to hide their pregnancy forever. They might have to go back home in case of emergency. So, they are prepared with excuses to be given such as giving away the child to the relative who cannot bear a child or be having a still-born baby.
It must have been hard for the surrogate mothers for having the baby in their womb for good long nine months and not have affection towards the baby. They can feel the movements of the baby inside them. However, they have to try not to love the child. Once born, they cannot even see the baby.
