Shashi Tharoor is a member of Indian National Congress. He has served as Minister of External Affairs as well as a minister of state in Human resource development. Apart from politics, he is an acclaimed writer. He has authored more than fifteen fiction and non-fiction books. Shashi has been a regular columnist for reputed organizations like TIME, the Times of India, The New York Times and The Indian Express.
He has even worked for the world’s one of the most reputed organization, The United Nation.

Shashi Tharoor has been a close relative of controversies. He has had a close face-off with them many-a-times. Tharoor made the news when his wife, Sunanda Pushkar was mysteriously found dead in a hotel room. He was criticized when referred the economy class in the airlines as “cattle class”. Shashi was criticized by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee when he showed his support to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi led Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. A commotion rose when the news channel Republic TV alleged Mr. Tharoor as a suspect in murder of his wife.
Shashi Tharoor has always been vocal of his opinions. He puts forward his opinions through Twitter. But, the way how he expresses them is what amazes the people. Last year, Tharoor amazed the world by using the word “rodomontade”. Then, he gave the Twitterratis more English lessons again and again.
