Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s tour glimpse
PM Justin Trudeau, who is on one week-long tour to India, landed on Saturday, 17th of February, 2018 along with his wife and three children- Xavier, Hadrien and Ella-Grace. The tour of the minister began with visiting Taj Mahal. Justin Trudeau and his family paid his respects to the father of a nation, Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Ashram, Ahmedabad. He was seen spinning the wheel along with his son Xavier while his wife and children were looking on. Later, he visited Akshardham Temple where he met the religious leaders.
He also visited Mathura where he met Maya, Bijlee, and Lakshmi. These three elephants rescued by the Mathura Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre, in Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Justin was emotionally moved by the story. He spent close to an hour with his family with the elephants.
On the extension of the one-week-long visit to India, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau headed to Amritsar to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple on Tuesday, 21st of February. He along with his family was preparing rotis at Golden Temple. Later, he met with Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. The meeting raised “Khalistan issue” while the Justine Trudeau assured of no support for separatist movement for a separate Sikh state.
PM Modi with PM Trudeau
However, the visit is gaining publicity for all other reasons. Our prime minister, Mr. Narendra Modi who often give their time to other ministers who visit India, but this time we hardly see Modi with the Canadian PM. Speculations are made that PM Modi is busy escorting Donald Trump’ s son; who has visited India to promote real estate deals across four cities. However, the theory related to Khalistan controversy may be the other reason for snubbing Justin Trudeau. He will be sitting down with the Indian prime minister on Friday, 23rd February.
